The online yoga group session is for someone who wants to add Yoga in their daily routine and want to stay fit mentally, physically, socially, emotionally and spiritually. The one hr class consists of chanting mantras, practicing asanas with breath work, pranayamas, sukshma vyayamas, relaxation techniques and a little bit of philosophy as we go along. The classes happen online and it would be a general yoga class hence if you suffer from any major ailment I need to know about you need to specify before the class please. I also teach personal classes which would have a set fee and it is for people with specific ailments or any specific goal.
I am a certified Yoga instructor pursuing masters in Yoga Therapy. I could have stopped at just one certification to teach.. but I took up masters because Yoga is an ocean of knowledge and there is just so much to learn and share.
I believe Yoga is not something that is practiced just on the mat, but off the mat too. It is a way of living!
I believe that if we have to teach a subject to someone, we need to believe in it first! We need to trust the subject, live by the teachings in the subject.
I give my 100% to learn, implement and teach what is mentioned in the texts of Patanjali Yoga Sutra. I learn and teach Yoga not just for the physical benefits it provides but for something beyond the physical. Of course we need to be physically and mentally fit in order to go beyond and hence I make sure I teach the right techniques the right way.
I am thankful to this knowledge that many of the students who practice with me who earlier were struggling to conceive have been able to conceive after practicing for just 2 months, lose weight, could reverse vericose veins, thyroid, Hyper tension, cholestrol over just a period of 4 months practice.
