As an Electronics and Telecom Graduate , how should i Prepare for IT Officer especially the Professional knowledge section

am i able to prepare myself on my own?

I am having 4 yrs experience in IT Industry.I am having a gap of 4 yrs please let me know if I am eligible for IBPS Specialist officer post. I can't apply for this year as last date of application has exceeded I am planning to apply for the same next year.Please guide...

What i have noticed in the 2014 specialist officer scale 2 exam, most of the questions were from the network security and software development life cycle ( SDLC ) . So can you please confirm that for the scale 2 exam whether these topics are more important than others like DBMS and Network security.
