Basics of watercolor landscape painting

Art Materials Needed : 

• Min. 270 GSM Watercolor handmade paper block
• Artist grade, Watercolor tubes set
• hb, 2b, 6b pencils and rubber
• Round natural / synthetic brush set, 6, 10 no flat brush 
• drawing board 
• large water container / bowl
• Tissue paper roll / cotton rag

Eligibility

• English, Marathi, Hindi language
• age 15 and above
• basic understanding of drawing / coloring objects in any media

Sessions - outline (1hr each approx)

1. Introduction to course, media and art material 
2. Rapid sketching, doodling with pencils
3. creating grayscale and understanding values
4. Creating Thumb sketches with pencil, understanding composition 
5. Understanding Colors, primary, secondary, opposite schemes
6. Creating watercolor monochrome color scale
7. Creating swatches and mixes, gradients
8. Landscape assignment - 01
9. Wet in wet technique - Thumb sketch
10. Glazing Technique - Thumb sketch
11. Creating trees, vehicles, human figures with brush
12. Landscape assignment - 02
13. dry brush technique - Thumb sketch
14. Wet in wet with glazing - Thumb sketch
15. Other tricks - conclude
