Low on fitness means down on immunity. COVID times have proved how important it is to stay fit and exercise, as it is the key to a healthy immune system. There can not be any more significant proof of how important it is to exercise.
Bhagwan Geeta also says that we create bad karma if we do not take care of our body which God has given us to fulfil our purpose.
Yoga is best to gain physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well being.
