As the name suggests, this course is for kids of the age group 5-10. 

Kids are quick learners and can grasp 5-6 languages at a very young age. Thus, it is the right age to start learning our own ancient language, that is Sanskrit.

Sanskrit opens the door of opportunities for enthusiasts. To begin with, it clears the diction. The correct pronunciation of Sanskrit words is compared to Pranayama. After learning Sanskrit, learning any other language becomes easier as Sanskrit has its ties with Indian and European languages. Ancient texts ranging from philosophical texts like Vedas, Upanishads, Geeta to Scientific texts like Charaka-, Sushruta- Sanhita, Leelavati, Samarangana-Sootradhara, to Life-skill lessons like Mahabharatam, Vidura-neeti, Chanakya-neeti, to famous literary works like Shakuntalam, Raghuvansham, etc. enrich the language. Having mastered the language, reading and understanding these texts will definitely be easy.

Sanskrit is a sweet language, that pleases the ears of the listener. We have been reciting many Stotras and Subhashitas in Sanskrit for years, but not using Sanskrit in daily communication.

In this Baalavarga, the medium of instruction will be Sanskrit. The interest will be nurtured by songs, stories and flash cards. There will be no writing or reading in the class. Only Sanskrit-speaking and enjoying kids.
