When the light rays incident on an opaque(non transferant) object it bounce back.This phenomenon of light is called reflection. 

 LAWS OF REFLECTION;_

1) The incident ray,reflected ray and normal all will be lyeing in the same plane.

2)The angle of incidence and angle of reflection are always equal.
