Ramdeo Baba and other spiritual leaders did try to popularise Yoga. Even our PM Modi tried to bring in International Yoga Day. But it did not go beyond celebration.

I do try to encourage people to take up Yoga but only few people are ready to give their time to their health. Health is not a priority in India though it is proven that you can buy health insurance but you cannot buy health.

I have done Master in Yoga from University of Patanjali Haridwar.5 years experience

Yes, no doubt, India has achieved its aim of popularising YOGA by observing and celebrating International Yoga day on 21st.June 2015. Ancient Indian Yoga has achieved global approval. It is not that only a day of yoga would solve its purpose.
